Oh this is super nostalgic for me. Reminds me of the old days of listening to trance and checking the portal. My only real critique would be it's a bit hard to hear the clap in the background, but that's not a huge issue. I would just turn the lead and harmony down about .2 dB and perhaps apply a sidechain for when the clap comes in.

Writing wise, this piece is nice and dreamy. I personally don't like the pan flute's lazy attacks, which clash to me with the mallet instruments -- and those may be a tad too loud for my taste, along with the strings that seem to be about .2 to .3 dB out of balance, but this would serve wonderfully as menu music or a quiet scene, maybe falling asleep. Dig it

Smooth track with great arrangement, a nice laid back feel, and great variation. Production wise it's a bit low mid heavy, and I'd want just a bit more sibilance overall, but beyond that, nice screaming lead solo without being overbearingly complex, and that I think is the strength of this piece. It's pushing, driving, without ever doing TOO much. Pleasure to listen to.

Really interesting sound design. The rhythm is a bit occluded to me and a little muddy, but artistically speaking, I can appreciate that. On headphones, the track sounds significantly better than on my speakers and I can more appreciate what's going on.

I think a little more fx processing on your samples should help them not to stand out from the overall vibe of the track. Really olskool sound design. Is lit

Maybe not the strongest produced or cohesive, but this is definitely a journey. I appreciate your use of typical conventions such as filters and low passing, and the pace is energetic even through the varying sections. I think some more velocity and expressing modulating on those synth instruments will bring them out more. But overall pretty banging track!

Glad to see you still kicking it here on NG. Been following you since I joined NG. Not a huge fan of dubstep, but it reminds me a lot of your old style, and the mix sounds good from what I can hear on my speaker.

You got any other networks you post on?

I really happy that you left a review man! I dont have as much inspiration to make music anymore, but a few time a year i try to get something together.
I have all my stuff here atm. Though I have some on Spotify and youtube, this is where I have my "archive".

Music have become so advanced and I'm overthinking it when I'm producing. Trying to get a fresh sound and composing at the same time get really overwhelming while trying to make some sweet tunes. :P

I hope you are well and I'm honored to have been an artist to awaken your nostalgia!

Peace!

Wish you were still around -- software has come along so much since those days. Miss hearing from you. Your compositions are always so expressive

One of my favorite songs on site. Decade and a half and still going strong

This actually sounds pretty freaking cool. I would like if you were to drop the tonic note by an octave, since the sub isn't hitting during those notes. It reminds me of a hard trap beat meeting dubstep tbh
