First review!

I'm liking this! I'm surprised no one's reviewed by now, what with the epicness you have going on here.

So, starting off into the song and I'm already getting into it. Maybe it's just the weird feel I get when I listen to techno, but I lust really LIKE it. Honestly, I like it more than your other songs.

You have some nice harmonies going on here the synth soloing around 1:30 was very nice and mellow too, and when you brought the bass back, I was bobbing my head like a mindless zombie. Some very nice work there. :)

The bass drop was good too and it lead into one of the coolest transitioned key changes. The only thing I didn't like was the bass drum roll, but you fixed that by leading into one of the coolest melodies I've ever heard. You really keep me guessing on your synths here. Nice work!

Pretty good

The only thing I didn't like about this was the brass. It may just be that I'm a brass player myself, but I couldn't feel the soul in it. Definitely needs more bass and kickdrum to it. I do like it quite a lot though.

Keep trying! You'll get it right eventually!

Hmm...

I didn't like this quite as much as I normally would. The sporadic beginning is a bit of a turn off. It almost sounds as if it's out of tempo with the rest of the song. The main melody is repetitive, but still good. I don't like the bass drop you did in there; it makes a very high squeal for a second or two before it drops out.

The rest of the song is fairly good, even if I think it needs more bass, not to mention reverb on the percussion track. If you want to make it more dramatic, pump up the volume of the SFX and add some reverb, etc. to make it sound beefier. Same goes for bass, minus reverb. You could EQ that into being beefy. I like the high synths a lot because they sound strange and good, even if they hurt my ears in the high octaves.

Good work!

Nice!

Since NG apparently forgot how to give reviews, I'll give you my two cents. While it's not exactly my style, I like it. The bass and the chorus are pretty soothing. I was seriously hoping it wouldn't end. I still get a tad of an empty feeling when you introduce the SFX stabs though. I like the chorus and harmonics, it sounds really good. I believe some solid underlying bass would be a good coupling for it.

If you want to get that deep feeling, some low bass drops and more percussion would be good to add in. Great song; I'm sort of inclined to try my hand at remixing it. :)

Thanks, check out my new song ^^

Good!

It's not bad at all, but there were a couple tempo slip ups here and there. Anyways, it's really good. I still feel like it needs more bass though.

If only printers sounded like this!

I could die happy, lol.

For some reason, I like this better, lol

I think your cymbal loops are much better in this version than the remix. Nice piano synths, btw. It's very groovy-ish.

shazzka responds:

lol yea this versions addictive. The reason the cymbals are better in this is coz i used a diferent program to make this.

thx for the review :D

Not bad, but this isn't really my style . . .

I'm all for the progressive thing you have going there, but I do think the riff in the beginning needs to be a lot more aggressive . . . Well, overall, the whole song needs to be more aggressive. I just think it needs to pack a lot more punch than it does as it is. The melody should only sound a little louder than the accompanying bass line and counter melodies. Your melodies stick out way too much for my taste. Nice arps though.

Also, the second little riff you had going, I think the second riff you had going on at about 1:16 seemed like it didn't harmonize well with the rest of the song in the last half of it's duration (you know the last half before it loops over) . . .

Good work anyway. You have some good ideas going on here!

Adamaja456 responds:

thank you for the review.
:)

Not bad

I think you should probably work on EQ though. A lot of the bass was painful to hear in my headphones. Also, what the hell was that noise at the end? Anyway, you have some great ideas in here, so while you strive to improve, I'll just shut my mouth, since I'm not all that good at techno anyway.

Overkillz responds:

Oh maan... I totally forgot all the EQ and compressors... Still, thanks very much! The saound at the end was a churchbell =) I'll maybe do all the EQ and compressor work and repost it.

Wow

Those are the best synths I've ever heard. Great job!

How did this go unnoticed most of you are asking? It's called being before its time. It probably got submitted and zerobombed by some crazy people trying to get their music to the top. I don't understand how people can vote low on such awesomeness though. Great piece. I might have to try to orchestrate it for marching band or something . . maybe do a remix . . if that's okay, lol.
