Cool, but out of place
I'd consider this somewhere between miscelleaneous and industrial. It's a cool song, but it's totally not the metal I've come to know here.

Good
Sounds a hell of a lot like one of my songs tho. A bit repetitive, but it's cool.
Eh. . .
Way too much repetition and weird sounding synth riffs. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's just not my style. I've heard tons of stuff like this before. Maybe you should put a little more feeling into it.

Nice
There were a ton of inharmonies in the background that kept annoying me. Pretty cool song there though. Good job!
I think some of the background noise/inharmonies come from two key places in this one:
The guitars I'm using are admittedly poor- the strings are old, they easily fall just a bit out of tune, etc. etc. Plus, I'm just not a good guitar player at all.
Also, I think some of that feel (to my ears anyways) comes with some of the percussion sounds.
Anyway, yeah, definitely a good point. Hopefully with time and practice I'll get better at the mixing process, and maybe even at playing the instruments so that this sort of thing will be much easier to avoid. But I do think at least a little of it comes with the territory when you make noisy music, and it occasionally even adds to the feel of the song. Not, of course, to the extent it's present here, I think.
Thank you very much for the kind words and the review. It's all appreciated, and sorry for the time it took to respond!
LOL
The only reason why I gave an 8 is that the clapping got on my nerves a little. Other than that, it's fucking awesome. Good work!
Yeah, i just took the edited version from youtube and put metal on it. glad you enjoyed it!
Needs bass. . . badly
Other than the lack of bass, the song is kick ass. Where'd you find the recordings of the guy that was talking? Back onto the topic of improvement, I'd put more bass into the kick and a little less treble on the who song. Nice rythm guitars by the way.
Thanx alot , yeah, i agree on the kick drum being to low also the song does need bass. I actually got the soundbites from the original black and white Return of the living dead. well, ive got some new equipment now and hope that my quality is gonna be alot better from now on. Also gonna see about adding some bass to my sons as well.Rock on man
YAY
Nice work. Makes me feel a bit high listening to it. Love the weird sounds :)
Awesome!
Nice minor key =P
I just love Christmas songs like this. I really have nothing that I can think of to say besides that this song is supremely cool and really creepy. I wish my school band would let us play something like this. I like 'weird' music like this, so yeah. Good work!
Keep it up!
Thanks man!
EDIT2021: Just came back to say I still very much enjoy this mix. Since started making my own music and become an audio mod along the way. Wishing you well, wherever your journeys have led, and wherever they may take you in the time to come :)
Very sweet!
This should be number one, definitely. I have absolutely no criticisms. Most amazing song ever. It would probably sound better with a real guitar though. I do like the synth or whatever it is though. It sounds relaxed and chilled and at the same time, it sounds angry and sad.
I like the instruments and vocals also.
What program did you use?
Wow, kind words!! I definitely DISAGREE about being #1 though lol XD
and yeah it would definitely be a lot better with a real guitar... guess I'm gonna start saving for one? hahaha
I used FL Studio 8 btw!
