Nice! :)

I'm not really into hardstyle all that much, but something about this song just caught me. I'm not sure what it was. It could be the half gallon of coffee I just finished, or not. Either way, I like it. It gives me a strange feeling of falling when I close my eyes, haha. What program(s) did you use? Just wondering.

Anyway, comment and . . review back? *begging shamelessly* lol.

KI1 responds:

:D Glad you liked it, you're one of the few :P
Umm, I used FL Studio 9 XXL (don't ask me how I got it) as well as various plugins for it such as Nexus and the Vengance Electro sample pack.
I'll be sure to check out 'n review your stuff :P
And remember; those Indian slave children worked hard to bring you that coffee.

Nice!

Since NG apparently forgot how to give reviews, I'll give you my two cents. While it's not exactly my style, I like it. The bass and the chorus are pretty soothing. I was seriously hoping it wouldn't end. I still get a tad of an empty feeling when you introduce the SFX stabs though. I like the chorus and harmonics, it sounds really good. I believe some solid underlying bass would be a good coupling for it.

If you want to get that deep feeling, some low bass drops and more percussion would be good to add in. Great song; I'm sort of inclined to try my hand at remixing it. :)

FlawlessNJ responds:

Thanks, check out my new song ^^

For some reason, I like this better, lol

I think your cymbal loops are much better in this version than the remix. Nice piano synths, btw. It's very groovy-ish.

shazzka responds:

lol yea this versions addictive. The reason the cymbals are better in this is coz i used a diferent program to make this.

thx for the review :D

Not bad, but this isn't really my style . . .

I'm all for the progressive thing you have going there, but I do think the riff in the beginning needs to be a lot more aggressive . . . Well, overall, the whole song needs to be more aggressive. I just think it needs to pack a lot more punch than it does as it is. The melody should only sound a little louder than the accompanying bass line and counter melodies. Your melodies stick out way too much for my taste. Nice arps though.

Also, the second little riff you had going, I think the second riff you had going on at about 1:16 seemed like it didn't harmonize well with the rest of the song in the last half of it's duration (you know the last half before it loops over) . . .

Good work anyway. You have some good ideas going on here!

Adamaja456 responds:

thank you for the review.
:)

Not bad

I think you should probably work on EQ though. A lot of the bass was painful to hear in my headphones. Also, what the hell was that noise at the end? Anyway, you have some great ideas in here, so while you strive to improve, I'll just shut my mouth, since I'm not all that good at techno anyway.

Overkillz responds:

Oh maan... I totally forgot all the EQ and compressors... Still, thanks very much! The saound at the end was a churchbell =) I'll maybe do all the EQ and compressor work and repost it.

Good

I like the arps you have going there. I wish it was more of a song though. With only that level of development, it just doesn't sound completely full to me. Good job on this though.

Thayzer responds:

okk...

Cool

Wow, this is one of the first happy songs I've really enjoyed. I've never really played FFVI all that much, but this song is cool. The notes were spot on. I like the arpeggiating you have going on there. Good job! I don't really have any suggestions for improvement, unless you can get someone who is godly at guitar playing to play those guitar parts for you. That would make it even more awesome than it is now.

I like the sad-ish part near the end as well. You captured the feeling of the song quite well. Excellent cover/remix/whatever.

bitium-ribbon responds:

It's interesting you'd say that about the "happy" feeling, considering that this song is a final boss theme. But thank you for reviewing!

Good!

These are very good song choices here, however I felt that something was missing from it in the beginning. That feeling was soon lost, later on. Good work!

Do you think you could possibly do a remix the song in FFXII, in the core of Giruvegan? I forgot the name of it, but I do remember that I attempted to put it on my laptop (and succeeded) with some kind of plug rig and a recorder from my own mixing program. Excellent mixing there, by the way.

bitium-ribbon responds:

Thanks for the review! However, with very, very few exceptions, I make a practice of only mixing music from games I'm familiar with, and I have no desire to become familiar with FFXII. :P

I'll give the midi a listen for fairness, but wishing you no offense, don't hold your breath.

Glad you liked it! ^^

Weird

Sounds like when I take the whammy bar off my guitar and try to play it like a fiddle or something. XD

Cool song, even if some of the chipping gets old.

JakesFable responds:

Yeah lol this song is like over 2 years old and the chipping thing was new to me at the time lol and lol that sounds awesome. Thanks alot for the review ;)

Minnesota eh?

Wow, it is like 2 at night now, lol. I really like the song. It's strange and kinda gives me a headache and doesn't go where I want it to, but I like it just the same. It kinda gives me a paranoid feeling though, like someone's watching me when I listen to it. Creepy, lol.

NuclearStrike responds:

You said ALL the right things. Mission Accomplished for me :D. Thanks for reviewing. Love, Peace, and Big Beat.
