Great chord progression, and the stringy synths remind me a lot of 007 Goldeneye soundtrack. Could use more hi-hats and cymbals though.

djdizzle01259 responds:

Sure man, I'll work on the cymbals in the future, and thanks for the advice! :p

Sounds great, if not a bit much reverb. Could use just a little more mastering. Overall, pretty solid composition. Gets a favorite and a 5 from me! Now if only it were available for download. Excellent trombone sounds going on, too. Keep it up!

DSykMusic responds:

Thanks for the review!

Loving the calming sounds going on. The disjunctness of the song overall requires one to relax while listening. Sounds like an odd meter. I really, really would love if this were a loop, or if it didn't end so suddenly. Maybe play with that portamento-sliding synth a little more, especially the falls. Great atmosphere!

Keep up the good work!

bwmusic responds:

Thanks. Actually its just 3/4, but the drums get knocked back a quarter of a measure cause of a little anacrusiss. Planning to continue it (perhaps add guitar or sax), but just tossing up a sample

Percussion sounds more DnB than techno, but instruments seem to be staying close to home. Good work. I like the progression.

TeraVex responds:

Thank you!

Nice! Sorry to see you got yourself a spam review. Not sure if the vocal track is copyrighted or not, but it's a damn good track, except for the as mentioned lowered vocal track.

JBeat2k9 responds:

Hehe.. It happens man. Thanks for voting this a 5! I really appreciate it!

The vocal track is copyrighted, but due to the terms in the creative commons license, which is what I've released this on, I'm allowed to use it for non-commercial purposes. I haven't, nor will I ever receive a penny for this remix.

I'll be re-rendering this track with higher quality, louder lyrics as soon as I can! Sorry that they're so quiet! xD Thanks again, EDM364!

Never heard you speak before, but I have to say, this was quite perfect. Your voice worked very well for the characters. :)

Coop responds:

Thank you - I've been reading his work aloud for about 15-20 years, so I've had lots of practice

The only flaw I see is the vocal build in the beginning. The drop is gentle without being underwhelming, and those snare rolls are nice. The melody seemed to sit just a tad higher than the rest of the track, however. Overall, great work. I like your production style a lot! Just wish that last note would hang rather than chopping off like that.

Pandasticality responds:

thanks for the review, yeah the melody does seem a bit higher which was a mistake :x should've turned it down just a little.

Sounds pretty great so far. Can't wait to hear the full version! What else are you planning to do with it?

DJTECKIE responds:

Thanks! I found a few videos I might take some vocals out of but if I get a response from this friend of mine I might get him to record a few rap vocals.

Interesting. The deep, obscured voices were a nice motif. When the second half of the song came in and ramped up the tempo by a good third, it was a little rough to start, but it reminded me of horrorcore without the mindless noise, if that makes sense. I like it!

Great job with the percussion and ambient FX sounds. I could dance to this. :)

Stapless responds:

never heard of horrorcore might check them out. ha
