I've been seeing a lot of stuff around here hurting for reviews. A lot of my stuff, too. That's lame.

So, I decided on something yesterday. Yes, I'm not joking. I will be reviewing your crap for one straight week on one condition -- that is, you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours...

Figuratively of course. Hold your passports and sleeping bags, ladies. I'm not about that life.

You want guaranteed reviews? Drop one on any of my tracks over the next week, and I'll give you two back. Yes, I will be doing review responses too, for you stat whores, and yes, they will be thoughtful.

OR, if that's not your flavor, do me a favor. Sign up here under your NG username with an email you don't care about, confirm it, and I'll give ya 20 critical reviews. You know, those things we hardly get enough of these days. Yes, it's a referral link. Yes, it will tip me in pennies when you click it, but it helps pay the light bill and my gear, so hey.

If somebody wants to match me or start a group, we can make this a community event. Ya dig? @CyberDevil and I have been thinking about starting up a Review Crew, and @Auz with the Top 100 Reviewers thread could use new blood. I'd be game.

1. Guess you could ask me to review someone else's crap, or specify something you want a comment on. No one said they had to be NG reviews but hey.

2. Don't break NG rules. Show up sometimes. :P

Virtually. It gets revived every so often but I don't really feel like there's an impetus for people to flock to it and use it. Plus I'm bored.

Oh let's make it a thing! I really would like to start doing something monthly or bi-monthly.

And, well, 20 reviews for tipping me 10 cents via referral, but that place has giftcards galore. I just happen to have made enough on it to start paying the bills. :P I decided to drop that in as extra motivation for me because previously when I did requests it was basically people pop in, ask for a ton of reviews and poof. Now it's an exchange, albeit somewhat tilted in the reviewer's favor, which I think is good.

I do have Discord, unsure if I mentioned. I don't mind time zone differences but be warned, I have social anxiety, so when I'm not in my current manic state I may disappear off social media/chat.

Yupp you did mention. :) I don't have Discord myself, though, so suppose PM would be easier? Not always on my own computer... assuming it's a thing you install, and real-time chats aren't my thing really, maybe some kinda similar link there....

Yeah, I realize not everyone is gonna like a live chat. Tbh there are weeks I will completely avoid it -- but it helps that everyone will know I'm offline.

It probably won't since it only counts confirmed emails, but I feel ya. Although to be fair I trusted 'em with my bank info and so far no mischief after a couple years. *shrug*

That's not really a problem if you point out one or two things that you liked/disliked about the track. A 20 word review pointing out the one flaw in my composition is worth its weight in gold against a lot of glowing ones. :)

We do have the 'online' counter here at NG too. ;) Though wonder how many really pay attention to it, seems like it's not really shown on the most optimal/visited places...

Also, I think I'm going to extend my review for review spree indefinitely and just make a commitment every so often to double or triple it. The club will for sure be a thing. List is ready. Post is drafted for the most part. Will be up on the userpage at least by Tuesday, if not earlier. :)

I will have a google form for voting on events, so be thinking of ideas!
