Hey guys, just a note here that I have not been and will not be as available the next few days. I took on a job remodeling a house locally, so that AP Mod podcast is going to be delayed a bit. The job is dragging on somewhat more than expected due to unforseen complications like 3 layers of stubborn wallpaper, uneven paneling, and grueling 8-12 hour shifts on my feet, but I'm absolutely overjoyed to finally get my figurative foot in the door doing what I enjoy -- cleaning, painting, and fixing. Plus, there's the chance I may keep getting hired for similar jobs, which will mean a steady stream of income towards more equipment -- thereby the means to make better music, not to mention get the start in life that's eluded me thus far. Exciting!

I'll probably be back to regular schedule by Friday night and will be judging for the most prestigious NGADM competition in between modding when I get home. Those of you who audition, if you have any review requests for your tracks, let me know! After each round concludes, I'll be dropping a batch of reviews. I had intended to review each track as I went through entries, but @ChronoNomad specified that no scores should be released until each judging period concludes, which I think adds a fun and fair bit of mystery to the mix. The competition itself so far looks very exciting this year, and I'm honored to take part, however small it may be in comparision to the massive turnout of talented artists. If you have some spare time in between your duties, (and if you are interested of course) I have a project in mind.

It should pay around 250 dollars. A lot of work for 250, but hey. I also don't have a car or anything else to do other than mod and judge and make music, so I don't mind. Plus, my employer isn't made of money, and I need to get some job experience after all this damn school, heheh.

I'm just about to get on and get to scoring, check Discord, etc. I'm still getting used to using it. Not like Skype, which I used to have running all the time until people started harassing me. Will get to the inbox asap. I've got your mails up in another tab and half replied to. Been baby sitting all day. Anyway, I'm off for tonight and going back in the morning, so should be time to get things done.

Funny thing, I was almost named Adrienne from birth. Mom had a change of heart though. But yeah, that's the general idea. I came up with the spelling on a whim and kicked the N to the back of my name. Interestingly, since changing my name, I started on the route to becoming a Christian. Adrean recalls the Adriatic sea Paul was going through when he was shipwrecked near Malta. Unsure if I mentioned before.

Neither, actually. @littlemisfortune brought a ton of makeup for our friends to rifle through, and they took turns giving me a beard, lol. People have been confused about my real gender since 2005, so I figured I'd keep 'em guessing.

Every entry from that point in the playlist should be Islam centered and give you a good jumping off point.

I also highly recommend Patricia Crone's "Meccan Trade and the Rise of Islam". I snagged it for Kindle at the recommendation of Jay Smith and it's a great read if you're interested in seeing the myth of Mecca as the birthplace of Islam shattered.
