Short Update

Hey guys, I just wanted to write something short so that everyone doesn't think my world is ending.


First, we managed to save mom's house. Awesome. Mom sends her hugs and a thousand thank yous to the folks who donated $40 to her expenses. Even that little bit helped!


Second thing, my godmother/aunt passed away about two weeks ago. I took some time off to be with mom, but I'm back. A little sad, but making it. Usually I'm the strong silent type with stuff like this, at least on the outside, but as I've gotten older, it's really started to hit.


So many of you have sent me kind words and been an ear when I needed to talk. In this world where we're so disconnected from people that actually care, it means a lot. Thanks guys.


Third, the winners of the Re-Remix Me competition have officially been announced, and pending payouts! Congratulations to @KI1, @G2961, @anthonyragus, @3manonmusic, @Jotrocken and @Aalasteir for making it through this wild ride and surprising finish.

And finally, my usual sample projects will have yet more brothers and sisters added to the pile.


Gonna be working on a vocal pack and per Aalasteir's request some quirky, distorted drums and FX. Those might just end up in the next update of Adreanaline, since I tend to dip into my own samples for these a lot.


I have several music projects waiting to hit the net. Couple collab pieces here, several covers there. Also steadily cracking away at getting the book presentable enough to make it an open document.


And soon this bad boy should come out on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube Music. Probably about 2 weeks. Meanwhile, here's lyric video.

Seriously, all comments welcome. Good or bad, your input has helped make me into the producer I am today, which is awesome, since music is the most joy I've had in life.

I'll do one better and give her a real hug when I visit. She's a little embarrassed that anyone knows about her financial issues lately, but she is so, so very thankful for everyone's help and well wishes. Makes her feel like less of an island.

Maybe one day I'll see if I can get her to create her own NG account. She spends most of her retirement between housework and online gaming, now that memaw has passed on.

Yeah, it really is. But I have to remind myself aunt L would be happy for us. I actually told her about it when I went to visit her in her coma, not to worry about it, that I'll take care of it. The next morning, she left us. So I think she heard me. She was definitely holding on until we were able to make it and say our final goodbyes.

Before she went, and when she was still talking, she told me to keep working on my music, and that she was proud of me. So I'm just doing what I can to make good on that promise.

How have you been? It's been a while since we talked. Anything new?

Love you too! I'm recovering. The first week was really hard. Like, her husband immediately went to throwing out all her things, flirting with my mom, and isn't even having a proper funeral. So that's insult to injury.

But I have some good pictures of her, was able to take mom to see her shortly before she passed, and I did get a couple pieces of clothes and sick walking canes. One was her favorite, so there's that.

I'm just still in that kinda depressed haze. She was an amazing woman, mom's best friend of 40 years and my idol all my life. She had the looks of Cher, the sass of Sarah Silverman, and the loyalty and flair of Bonnie and Clyde. It's a huge loss.

But the silver lining is, we survived.

Enough about me though, what about you? Nothing nearly as dramatic going on in your life, I hope!

In short: mod found my phrase offensive and gave me a month of forum posting ban. We were discussing someone who was banned before tho, and this mod has tensed relationship with him. I went pissed off after ban, but just left angry face on mod' newspost, but he thought I'm "harassing him". I didn't have to ask, I just pointed at fact that mod made some wrong stuff and he (UNEXPECTED) unbanned me. Olskoo is too delicate I see. I thought he's pretty nice by his posts and positive responses, but well, what the hell was wrong with him???? Supporter forum moment

Idk why that was a bannable offense. The supporter forum is now as general was ten years ago, except gayer. Okay maybe not -- general was super gay now that I think about it.

But anyway, supporter is at least as gay, but only about as half as hardcore. Like a tub of rainbow cotton candy versus the socks that still stand up after work meme. Acting like kids in middle school aren't trading that word around like pokemon cards is only going to make it worse, lol.

I'm lucky enough to have only ever been banned a few times over the span of my account history, but probably because I took so many hiatuses. My teenage trolling years were pretty prolific to say the least.

I was not even aware ng chat was still a thing, if that says anything about how my browsing habits have changed LOL. I just don't have time for trolling like I used to. Although sometimes I miss being the bringer of lulz.

Once I was kind of an NG lolcow, on this account. They had a flash holiday making fun of me. It was great.
