New t.A.T.u AI translation out!

Throwback to 2005! For those of you who loved Ne Ver Ne Boisya reimagined in English, it's t.A.T.u's All About Us like you've never heard it before. The song has been translated in Russian for the first time and sung into reality with AI! It's been a labor of love, a dream, and a lot of elbow grease convincing the Yulia AI to scream as usual. I think I spent a whole day yelling at my computer, thankfully all alone, lol.

More about the project:

I made this video with the power of AI, my own voice, and manual translation, trying to stay as close to the original as possible.


Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina's vocals were sung in realtime through so-vits-svc in Python, with lyrics translated from English to Russian. The instrumental was pulled from the 2005 Dangerous and Moving album version run through Ultimate Vocal Remover.

AI maybe ain't all bad either hmm... been thinking about using it to assist with coding stuff too. The potential uses seem almost limitless, if you can just formulate the right directives...

Thanks! Some native speakers have told me the same actually, which I was surprised -- worried it wouldn't translate. So that's a relief. I hope to update the mixing at some point or redo the instrumental, as the current one is just the album version with the vocals sucked out. It could definitely use work in that regard.

Still I'm happy it turned out as well as it did. I recorded some 14 takes of each individual word at points due to A, U, and EH sounding the same to the AI xD So do with that what you will. AI a lot of times does get things wrong, even more so with coding and other applications. Just look what it does with people's fingers hahaha

Mouths and eyes seem like another common problem area. XD And food that looks alive, and smiles that seem nefarious and alien sometimes! But then again I've seen some work I didn't think was AI based at all, maybe different engines...

Entire sites. XD Basic ones, though, just for example give the command to create a simple portfolio website for a tattoo parlor, in valid html and css, with a black and red color theme, a main menu with five pages, etc etc... I tried it for a one-page thing earlier with chatGPT and it was just perfect, readable code and all, seems like you can get a good edge on the competition if you get some AI help with basic tasks like this. Not so easy for dynamic websites, or functionality that hasn't already been made and documented somewhere, I assume, but if the programming language itself is documented, and AI understands code then... who knows. Finna experiment more with that.

I'm typing on my phone so this will be a little short but that actually is a really cool idea. If you manage to get a portfolio to work, I could really use one for my own personal website. I've been wanting to get a simple one for unifying and tying together all of my socials, my work, and contacts in one place, plus a beat/sample sales portal

Maybe even selling some counseling, as I've done enough music critique over the years to pick up some skill in that area

Ah that could be something to test this on if you like. :D You probably have the skills required to AI generate something yourself, but if not feel free to send more details, colors, fonts, menu items, could give it a try.

That too! AI related know-how now does seem in call for.

Well I have my own sites already, and prefer to code those myself, this'd be just for freelance. :) It's what I work with, part time. Anything basic should work. More dynamic or CMS sites would still be manual labor.
