Cool news (albeit of course apart from haywrire life stuff)! :) Downloading album now, looking forward to that upcoming podcast; good luck with the judging.

So far I'm having trouble getting access to spreadsheets but once that's fixed I'll be good to go! I'm home now so I'll have time to do the work. I haven't been for about the past 2 weeks actually. Feels like being on the run lol.

Praying all goes well for the next week and I can get my life set back up, on track to start business, etc. Album so far is going well. Unfortunately I'm slacking a bit here on NG other than that, not necessarily including modding. I just haven't been able to get on much in the past few weeks. I handle flags and hit the hay lately. I'm a little upset about missing a lot of deposits. I had my ratio up a little bit from the past few months. Luckily it seems to have been a slow couple weeks outside of those competitions.

All the best for jury duty tomorrow; may justice and mercy prevail. Are you able to disclose *what kind* of case it is without showing the particulars, or is that classified as well?

The trial is over, so I can. A young black guy from my district robbed a convenience store out in the county/rural side of town at gunpoint. He was a convicted felon, so he was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon. I don't really remember all too much about it as I wasn't selected in the final 12/alternates, but the defense lawyer was a total skeez, trying to get rid of as many of us as he could who may have known each other, worked together, etc., as well as those of us who were or knew victims of violent crimes (fair to do so, but it was in the way he was going about it that just elicited an eyeroll from everyone). There was no physical evidence in the case but several witnesses, so the defense lawyer was trying to make a case that they were all mistaken about the defendant's identity, which was not the case. The State didn't really have a tough case to make. Several witnesses ID'ed the defendant as the suspect, including his own accomplice. It should have been open-shut and done that day, but the defense lawyer held up the jury selection process with all sorts of hokum from 8 in the morning to 5 PM.
