super good writing skills, super neat tips. i use a simple built-in-DAW sampler that allows me to add fade ins and fade outs via "amplify" parameter, to stretch the sample, etc.

Which sampler is that? There are two samplers that come with mine -- Alpha Sampler and Omni Sampler, Alpha Sampler being a single pad, and Omni Sampler as multiple. Haven't figured out the best use for the first aside from 808s, but as soon as I discovered you could do nice cymbal chokes with the second, I had to write about it
@ADR3-N i use the openMPT built-in sampler, it's way less modern than many other samplers, but still powerful enough to just get the job done :)
i'd like to goof around omni sampler because it looks like a fun tool to tinker with, but i am not using windows a ton these days (can't use VSTs in general, but it's not like i need them much for my work as of today)
I WONDER if you could get Mixcraft trial on your platform and yank the plugin to your DAW of choice. Can you? If you can, I'd love to write about it -- or have you write about it and copy the article over to my book with links to your profile/other form of credit! Seems very helpful.

@ADR3-N I've been doing good! Took a small break from music for a little bit. Just enough to recharge creatively. I have a collab I need to get started on.
But other than that, just living life and trying to enjoy it the best I can. After last year being a monster of stresses, this year is looking up for sure 🤞🤞

I think this might even supersede some fancy libraries -- you can't control the chokes of most cymbals in kontakt you buy. I might have discovered something new haha. Glad you found something useful!

Yea i had 4 tears in my right shoulder since like September. So just got cleared to start lifting again. Can't quite go back to Krav maga just yet, but hopefully that will come into play soon. I miss doing it

Всем так и бывает -- медленный темп, скучная жизнь, время проведено коту под хвость. Иногда, нам кажется так, но это не значит что все делаем зря. Прогресс постепенный -- большинство прогрессии сложно заметить.

Hey! No such thing as bugging me (at least in the negative sense!)
I'm doing a LOT better than I have been the past two months, that's for sure. I have food to eat and won't be homeless in the forseeable next few months, no small part thanks to you! So things are looking up.
In my sampling and so on, I'm figuring out how to use RX10's interpolate feature to clean up some of the samples for AFMD. I don't have enough time in the day to get back to music just yet, but enough to do a few of those a day.
