Me too! The past few weeks I've really struggled with motivation, from being just mentally tired to being physically exhausted or sick. The good news is I've been able to quietly plug away at a few other projects when I have time, so it's not a total loss, just a momentary change of direction and pacing.

Touching grass is the new slang for getting off the interwebz huh, sounded like a possibly weed-related euphemism too, had to Google. :P Nature's a healer fo shizzle, may you get back recouped with the smoothest coupe (or whatever model you're opting for there) you super trooper you!
A two day hiatus seems like almost too short a time to really rest though, best take whatever time you need!

I'm hoping to have everything that needs fixed on my new old car within the next couple months and finally have my own ride. So I'm super excited.
Ended up lucking out and getting an off day today, albeit under unfortunate circumstances. Someone who worked at my job passed away yesterday in a car accident, though I'd never worked with them before or seen them. So the place where I work closed down to mourn. So I've technically got a few days as opposed to two to rest. Tomorrow I'll be right back at it though. Back to busting ass
Right right, actually getting outside and away from the digital haze of regular days, gotcha. Well mowing the grass is another way of saying you blaze apparently, there are probably plenty of similar strings that mean different things, just hadn't heard this one before. :)
I am definitely all about touching grass over mowing though! Just getting some fresh air's amazing, even more so in a real forest. Did you know plants communicate via pheromones? Happy trees essentially give off an air that's uplifting to breath.

I'm amazed all the ways you can string rhymes together, dude! It takes me days to write anything clever, even when I'm in the mood. I do manage, but you can do damage! I never heard mowing the grass except to mean shaving your pubes, not to be rude, but I suppose it could also mean throwing the weed in the grinder. Thanks for the rhymes. I had to stare at them a second before I took off my blinders xD
I actually DID know trees communicated with pheromones. They can even scream when they're hurt to the other trees. I guess it just takes them such a long time to react that perhaps we don't understand their means of communication as well as we'd like. Imagine something that lives sometimes for 1000 years, yet can't move from its spot in case of a forest fire. If we were like that, what reason would we even have to scream? Frighten all the other human-trees to receive empathy? LOL

We just signed the t-shirt and took a collection for her family. She was a senior in high school. I don't really know how to feel. I'd never seen her face at work, but of course I know people who had -- different hours of work to mine. In a way, I'm grateful to still be alive. She died in a car crash, some said was texting while driving. I only recently have been driving. Another reminder ig to keep my eyes on the road. It's strange to be so affected by the passing of someone I didn't know. I think about her every time I go into work now, and how odd it is that business as usual goes on in her absence. As one day it will go on in my absence.
But enough morbid talk -- remind me again how we met? I know it's been a long time and it MUST have had something to do with music, but @Aalasteir asked me, and I very quickly encountered just how bad my memory has become!

Haha well thank you. :D It's just the way my mind works it seems, wordplay's this constant quirk in me, like birds and bees on anniversaries, or if burnt out spurting out to verdant trees. Oh yeah there is that colloquialism too. XD And you've got some rhymes too, prime you!
Ah the warning-particles-in-air kind of scream? I know that too yeah, so walking through a forest that's not healthy may have ditto effect on us, we really do have a special kind of symbiosis with all the species around us, it's a shame most don't know it. I think their form of communication did serve some purpose though, like in the case of acute danger they could draw in more water, somewhat better protect themselves against say that forest fire threat? Or what else could they do... biologically, that seems the only natural danger. Anyway I need to read up more, there are some fascinating books on the topic, they communicate via roots and fungi networks too, though I have no idea for what, and exactly what signals they send.
We're so different for sure, I can't imagine not being able to move for even a day, and not seeing, processing and perceiving the world in as different a way as they do... I suppose they do perceive light though, they do angle themselves towards a light source, and in a way they move through their branches, though still rooted all the same... anyway ever since I started reading up on plant-based communication I start seeing a tree swaying in the wind kinda like one that's waving to me, it's fun to imagine them a bit more people-like at least. :)
Daaang! That's an iconic car too! :D Nice find. Probably barely any lesabre's at all from that era rolling around in Sweden, maybe one from the 50-60's occasionally, the real oldies somehow seem more common than the 80-90s ones.
Mmm I suppose it'd feel a bit like the one time I went with a good friend to his grandma's funeral... I felt sad for them more than for her, just didn't have the same connection, though it does give you that added clarity regarding life; a more so situational than personal sadness when you're in a surrounding of the sort. Seems you occasionally get those reminders of how finite it is; how you'd best live in the moment and not take anything for granted. And for sure, good reminder on being careful on the road too in that case. Yeah...
Oh I don't know if I remember actually... we did the Listerine collab a few years ago now, but it's bound to be earlier than that? Did you maybe mod some of my stuff, you were a mod before right...? Found your Patreon a few years back but that's gotta be since we'd already talked about something... I cannot recall where communi8cations first started. :/

I've made the mistake many times of hurting myself from overexhaustion by trying to do too much. Sleep is extremely important. I am extremely grateful that you would like to share your experiences. I totally understand why you would -- it feels so foreign to take a break, a real one, as opposed to one in which you're actively procrastinating without knowing it. So naturally it feels like procrastinating to take a step back, but for now I'm just trying to be responsible and do what I can to let folks know I'm not abandoning ship, just catching some air on deck. I struggle to take compliments, but it means a lot that you've stopped by to tell me I'm not lazy aha. Sometimes I need a reminder
