That it can! It opened a new world of possibility for me. Previously, routing was a big struggle with such plugins, but instead of going the ableton route with a utility like the video I linked above, I use the upward comp instead!

Yeah this one was a pleasure to write! I add snips to them throughout the month which makes them easier to plan. On a wild hair I decided to research and see if I could find NG sample producers, and I found a goldmine!

Re: producer resources on NG I wonder how much more there is floating around here, we already have plenty of free-to-use music, sound effects, a very rich and long-lasting repertoire of resources in audio form that aren't always so easy to find and sift through, the Internet's oldest still living community contributed collection of such things actually, as far as I know... bound to plenty of other good related resources floating around in newsposts too.
Appreciate the elaboration on those complementary cyanide lines btw, I definitely did not catch all of that! You play on the theme with other lines too a bit, intentional or no, with chain reactions and what-not, all goes together well there. Cool to know about.

Usually I tend to go either simple or nonsensical with my raps but this one just sort of all came out at once. It was really unusual actually to be in the middle of writing a dnb track. I went and fed our dogs, had "you don't see me, but my time is coming" pop in my head while the beat was still fresh, and that was it!
Also if you ever want to collab, hmu. I know we've tried through the years but now I'm able to produce at a level I can actually half-ass sustain it! (thank god)

Ah if only I had more time to spare - rain check! Can't say I'm as involved with production as I'd like to be atm, nor with music at all for that matter, opportunity comes and goes. But appreciate the thought. For now I'm happy just tuning in.
That's awesome. :) Seems to be the way of the best writing that it just comes to you at once - at least it's usually that way for me, you can polish things up till the structure's great with anything, but with the rawer; more emotional stuff it's almost like you channel it from some other dimension, like your mind's not fully behind the words... If you're spiritual you might say if it's from another realm, if you're scientific maybe more so the subconscious... maybe there's really some kind of link between the two yet to be proven though. Maybe the subconscious is the soul...

Re: fiverr gigs, I'm not actually doing anything on Fiverr rn. Super saturated over there. But I AM still doing free and paid reviews. Business is a bit slow atm simply because I haven't been advertising as much as I normally would.
I also just got a commission for a instrumental, paid, and I'm working on a Legend of Korra fandub as an audio engineer.
I'm gonna have to dig through some 90s crates for sassy soul train vibes for that commission, because it definitely isn't the type of stuff that just falls out of my subconscious into the DAW! Luckily I don't have to write lyrics.
If you ever get the itch to stoke some of that soul fire, do hmu! I don't mind how long a project takes as long as we keep the embers going

I've been busy at work the past few weeks and super exhausted between that and comms, but I've always loved your sounds (many fivens uwu) especially when you dropped that vibrator I think it was in a stay at home pack LOL.
