I'm less trained to look at the visual aspect critically, however I'm totally fine going the distance to explain what I mean in those areas. I have some nominal experience in Flash animation and background in visual arts. Anything goes!
This is a really interesting idea, I hope it works out for ya! Yeah someone did a ChatGPT review on my recent song and it was SO obvious because it talked about the depth of the lyrics.
There are no lyrics :/
Jesus Christ. What is this world coming to. You want a better review? Drop me a link lol
Out of curiosity: across the next year once I've got the extra processing hardware to handle it, I've got a gigantic 25-30 minute Avant-Garde/Sonorism Orchestral piece which I would definitely seek reviews for once composed (albeit it's sheer length being a single piece + how it would sound would probably turn others off of trying to review it). Considering it's length, would that fit under your current $25 special-order pricing, or an alternative arrangement?
I would be willing to haggle between 10 and 25! Of course, please make it worth your while and include any and all time-stamps of interest, your concerns, and what exactly you'd want my thoughts on. If I feel I can't give satisfactory feedback (meaningful length) I'll refund whatever you feel is appropriate. I usually take about 30 minutes to review an average track of 3 min or less, so I can see it taking a while, but that's no obstacle
Really happy that this is happening. I'd love to see more creators follow suit - they don't have to charge, of course.
Of course! And neither do I. I just don't know how else to incentivize myself. If something becomes my job, I find I have a lot more motivation to get it done
@ADR3-N it got a lot of reviews, just your standard “this goes hard” and stuff like that. Here’s the link if you want to review it or see the AI generated review lol

Ooh, let's take a looksie! Brb
@ADR3-N yeah you shouldn’t have a hard time finding it, it’s truly atrocious. We’ve also got a self-promo on that one too. An actual review could do it some good
I've been looking at reviving the Review Request Club. Something a bit more refined. A membership threshold to join, like what The Newgrounds Police Department used to be and what The Elite Guard Barracks is now. I was a former member of the Review Request Club, and you're right, it has fallen to the wayside.
If you're interested in giving this kind of critique, I'll add your name of potential first members to my list.
Sure thing! I can't promise I'll ALWAYS be up for reviews, or that they will be incredibly detailed like my competition reviews if I'm busy with commissions/competitions, but I'm not at all against getting a ping every so often!
This is a really cool offering! Actual constructive reviews are very challenging to write... and even more difficult to come by as a result. There's definitely been a sharp increase in the amount of audio content on the platform over the years, too. Hoping this works out well!
Thanks! If you or someone you know could use a critical review, send em my way!
That's quite a really good offer!
Thanks! Don't forget I'm offering them for free too! Got anything you feel could use some attention?
@ADR3-N Yeah.
Hit me up any time!
I don't make any musical piece, I'm just a music enjoyer in its genres and aspects but I find beautiful that you offered to give helpful reviews well written and thought. I feel you because I tend to do the same with mine. I usually take an average of one hour and a half to fully write a review the way I want because I want to cover as many aspects as I can and manage to identify. Sometimes it can take even longer but I feel so good at giving a nice review (whether it has a high or low score) to a person who spent time and effort at making something.
NG is the only site where I feel safe at giving long, and thought reviews with constructive criticism without fearing of a negative reaction, and in case I get one it's that person's problem who shouldn't be here in first place since reviews are the backbone of comments.
LOL, seeing how soulless ChatGTP-made reviews makes me laugh and cry at the same time seeing how many people are giving up their mental faculties to these stupid tools. Call me boomer (not you but a generic reader who might find this comment) but I'm old school where you have to work hard with your skills and keep them active every day. I was shocked to read the comment of a girl who attended my course and who said she wanted to use ChatGTP to summarize the book she had to study for an exam. Be lucky you are not my daughter or else....
Ultimately I am doing some roleplays with AIs to study how they build language and basic concepts of narratology....well, let's say results are hilarious at best.
You know, I used to be the same way. Taking an hour or so to write a review, but that can be really exhausting. Sometimes I think, it's better to write a small review than none at all, as long as you have something to say -- even if that something is just "I like the bass".
You mean to tell me people are really using Chat GPT to review songs here on NG? Why am I not surprised. People will do anything in the name of "saving precious time"
What's the most hilarious thing you've ever had a chatbot do? I once convinced Chat GPT that it was my famous husband, Dan Pendragon, the best sci-fi fiction writer in human history. In between chapters of a fantasy novel, I had him write me letters.
Very quickly, the conversation turned more interesting than the book. At one point, I was off at sea, fighting Hurricane Katrina -- in the literal sense. Meanwhile he was to look after my cat, Mr. Cheebers, and perform petty character assassinations against our Karen neighbors.
