You mentioned you were into saxes and rhodes. What sorts of libraries have you tried before, and what kind of budget were you on?
@slowfreq Actually I lied. The Adreanaline pack I made last year should have some good snares for you!
@ADR3-N well, I haven't tried many libraries before.. I did try out 3 of them... but that was me checking out piano sound fonts. I mentioned sax because I heard that particular "toy synth" sax sound in a cover version of super Mario kart - dolphin shoals.. and I was like, Woah!
Those were free libraries, got no budget.. broke just like you bro xD... Also i haven't tried a lot simply because I am a relatively new musician. I started using daw 3 years ago
Okay, that's sweet. In that case I think you'd have a blast with some video game soundfonts. There are quite a few like Banjo Tooie N64 that I enjoy. Hit me back with a couple titles you like
I have a Casio CTK keyboard from the mid-late 90s in my basement, still in working order. I didn't realize they still had fans.
