Aaaaand the grand finale. Same commentary as last time. Really wish all these could be released at once, but I understand, huge files, different plot points, etc.

A4EProject responds:

Thank you once again! The interview was fun practice run/proof of concept for ourselves. In the 14 part motion graphic (mini) series that we're putting together currently, each episode will run roughly 20 minutes - with one continuous story arc connecting them all. I will be posting them here, likely mid-to-late 2018.

New to the 3d Render scene? Surprisingly nice job on the city panoramas then! What software is this?

CodeNameTBW responds:

Thanks The software is called After effects I used on the city intro

My commentary is about the same as the last piece. I will say the tween on the leg is just a little bit obvious and that drew my eye. Overall, this is a very pleasing format. Great work!

A4EProject responds:

Thank you again!

Pretty unique style. Reminds me of a lot of the stuff I used to watch on Adult Swim. Very high quality, kind of feels like an actual interview. Nice work!

A4EProject responds:

Thank you! We're on a production learning curve. In addition to introducing the protagonist for a motion graphic series that we're slowly putting together, this group of interviews allowed us to play around and experiment.

Animation is really well done but I'm concerned about some of the music rights. SFX are pretty loud, specifically the chat SFX, and I would like if the chat boxes were somewhere in the vein of DBZ Buu's fury. Clean and smooth borders, small relative to the screen. I'm interested in what actually happened between these two. Have you done story episodes before?

Jozarto responds:

I've noted and made desired changes. The song I used is a non copyrighted track made by a Youtube channel that does non copyrighted tracks for free. Not sure if I remember the name, but I can search it up.

Yes, I have done story episodes in the past. They are all on Youtube, but the animation was mediocre and very old. I might remaster the earlier episodes. If you want a link to the beginning of the series, I can provide that.

Great animation, but you shouldn't use music that isn't on Newgrounds! I also didn't like how the characters were seemingly in the DBZ universe based on the theme, but the sprites had just been recolored -- even using voice clips and SFX. Not saying there can't be other races in DBZ that we haven't discovered, but I've never seen a black Namekian before. I'm not well-versed in the lore of your particular world so it had me scratching my head.

Jozarto responds:

Well the Namekian isn't an OC that was exclusively made by me. A friend of mine made him up and sent him my way, along with the sprite. Apparently he was green at first, then he absorbed all of his brothers and his skin faded to brown. Personally I don't care for that lore myself, but it's whatever.

The voice clips were done by original actors I employed. Logan Felice, Terrance Nicholson, and more.

Regarding the sprites themselves, none of them are recolors outside of the Namekian, which I remind you, I had nothing to do with his creation. The rest are originals made by me or someone else.

The main cause for your confusion, is the fact that just about all of these characters were initially created in Dragonball Xenoverse, which allows weird color options.

For some reason, this is cute to me. I don't know what to say except thank you for sharing.

Comick responds:

Yeah I like to think Skitzo has some charm in a dark comedy way. But most people think hes just creepy haha. Thanks for watching!!

Not bad! Animation is a little exaggerated and weird in spots, and the sound mixing is not quite top notch, but good work.

Sam-Crius responds:

Thanks dude. This was my first ever 3D animated piece with my own rigged character, so I'm hoping that I've gotten better since xD Appreciate the feedback very much!

Minus 3 stars for no animation. Minus one star for mixing of the audio. If you had examples of your own animation, I would give more stars. As is, this is more suited for YT, not NG. If you must post this, embed it in your newsposts please! It's not entertaining to sit and listen to essentially a podcast, not a true VLOG!

This would be better suited to an Audio Portal submission in Podcasts >> Discussion. It's fantastic as a podcast.

Welcome to NG, btw. It's a pleasure to see new blood, as the site itself is a fantastic springboard into animation careers and such. Good luck finding VAs in RL!

StudioKinbla responds:

Thanks for the tips! If this get's blamed (and for future 'podcasts'), I shall do just that. Since this was my first time doing such a thing, you just had me google the difference between a podcast and a vlog, and you are very correct. I apologize for the mix up.

I shall look into that after this submission expires. Thank you!

I myself never thought this would be such a great site for reaching out to experienced animators for constructive criticism and tips. Thrice the thank you for listening in and giving feedback!

That drove me nuts, lol. Would have enjoyed it more if you had a pop filter of some kind. Not hard to make one until you can afford one yourself. Sock over hanger works for me.

Discombobulatedtoons responds:

I have one on lmao
